Last year we began working with one of our favourite brands, Frugi. As part of their Frugi Family, we are lucky enough to get some gorgeous samples for our little man and the latest item sent to us has to be our favourite so far. With M being an outdoors lover and a fan of vehicles a Little adventure coat (£44) seemed the perfect choice.
We love how Frugi makes their products the best they can be, especially when you’re putting your most precious little person it it. The lovely Little Adventure Coat is made from 100% recycled fibres and has a water resistant outer layer and a nice and soft inner lining. One of the features we loved on M’s Frugi coat last winter was the reflective stars on the back of the coat, so we were really pleased to see this feature on the Little adventure coat.
Frugi clothes are always made to the highest quality, with no exception. Our little man has been kept warm and dry during an afternoon autumnal shower, which allowed him extra minutes splashing in puddles in the garden. The design is nice and bright and perfect to help us spot a speedy monkey in a busy park. A great feature is the little zip tag that helps small fingers manage the zip. M is able to unzip and remove the coat on his own, which really helps with his confidence and independence.
The hood is nice and roomy, allowing plenty of room for comfort, yet not too much that the hood falls down and becomes pointless. The poppers are easy enough for a 3 year old to un-pop, which was something we were pleased about and the sizing seemed very accurate as this is something we seem to struggle with lately. M being quite tall and slim, fits in between 2-4 in most stores. We decided to go for a 3-4 years in the Little Adventure coat and we’re glad we did.
