Clara and I are not really lovers of high street shopping. We’ve both worked in retail and have many memories of busy shopping centres around Christmas time. We tend to do all our Christmas shopping online and recently started looking at bagging the best Black Friday bargains to beat the rush on the high street. We’re almost done with Christmas shopping for M as we don’t buy him a huge amount. But there are a few things around the home we’ve been looking at purchasing lately so we planned a list of things to keep an eye on in the sales.
Ao has some fantastic Black Friday bargains and is also offering their customers a different discount code* every day that can be redeemed on top of Black Friday sales! We’ve got our eye on a new sound bar for our TV and have considered another tablet for the home as we all seem to want to use the two we have at the same time.
The great thing about Black Friday sales online is you avoid the mad rushing to the shops and crazy queues. Last year of every £10 that was spent online, £4.10 of that was spent on a mobile. So I imagine lots of people did their Black Friday online shopping on the go. Which beats standing in the cold at 6am waiting for the shops to open.
Our best advice for bagging the best Black Friday bargains is to plan ahead, don’t just buy things you don’t need, use trusted sites only and make sure you use a credit card as they come with purchase protection. You may also want to prep your devices with some antivirus software just in case you get tempted to visit any less than friendly Black Friday sale sites.
Also don’t forget to share your bargain discoveries with your friends, as sharing is caring and everyone loves a good bargain!
