Family fun outdoors – Center Parcs Comp

This month's Center Parcs Family blogger challenge involves going on a family bike ride. Sadly C and I don't own bikes, even though we love to cycle and really enjoyed riding during our holiday at Longleat Center Parcs. So our mode of transport is walking, which we really love to do and enjoy taking a picnic and heading into the woods. Center Parcs spokesperson, Sam Dowsing, Cycle Centre Manager at Elveden Forest, shared his tips on how you can make the most of your family bike ride. We especially liked this tip. Spa Day at Center Parcs, Longleat

Spa Day at Center Parcs, Longleat

When C and I picked the date to enjoy our Spa Day at Center Parcs, Longleat, we had no idea it would fall the day after my nan's funeral. The last two weeks had been one incredibly emotional roller-coaster and the Friday before our trip to the Spa was the most draining of all. Saying goodbye to someone you love takes a lot out of you. So by Saturday morning we were both ready to attempt to relax and let someone take away our tension. We arrived at Center Parcs at 12pm and…continue reading →

Family fun at Center Parcs, Longleat

At the end of last year we were chosen to become Center Parcs Family Bloggers. We were over the moon and starting planning our 4 night break to Center Parcs in Longleat as soon as we could. We thought it would be nice to take our holiday over my birthday and ask our lovely friends to join us. Center Parcs in Longleat is less than an hour away from us, which was really handy as we didn't have a long car journey with an uncomfortable toddler. We spent the morning of our holiday,…continue reading →
How not to make Easter Chocolate Nests

How not to make Easter Chocolate Nests

I've always loved to cook and experiment with different ingredients. Clara can confirm that I love to invent my own meals in the kitchen. Some are a success and some, well lets just say that some are best not spoken about. I think my twist on the good ole Easter chocolate nest falls in the try if you like but perhaps don't category. Actually I would go as far to say that this is more of a how not to make Easter chocolate nests post, than a "ooo those were amazing let's eat…continue reading →
