Team Honk Danceathon 2015

Team Honk Danceathon 2015

It's taken me almost a week to put this post together due to how emotionally tired I'd been since experiencing something I will never forget. If you are regular readers you may remember us scooting around town as part of the Team Honk relay. We felt honoured to be a part of something so amazing and practically leaped at the chance to be part of the team again this year. When we discovered the challenge was going to be a 6 hour danceathon at Wembley Arena, we both signed up and started to…continue reading →

Brain Awareness Week 2014 – #igaze

I'm pretty fond of my brain, though slightly flawed and forever over thinking, it allows me to communicate in whichever way I wish to. We supported their fund raising by hosting a Digital Postcard on our blog back in February. ┬áThis year these three ladies came up with an enormous adventure to raise money for Sport Relief (the fit cousin of Comic Relief). This adventure involves the passing of a baton from Lands End to John O Groats, by bloggers and their family and friends. It started it's journey on the 12th of January and is due…continue reading →
The Lullaby Trust – Safe Baby Sleep

The Lullaby Trust – Safe Baby Sleep

A few weeks ago, after the sudden loss of the beautiful shining star Matilda Mae, we became aware of a charity called Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths. FSID is the UK's leading baby charity aiming to prevent unexpected deaths in infancy. Today FSID launches its brand new name and logo, which we are proud to be involved with. FSID will now be known as The Lullaby Trust, the reason for their rebranding is to ensure sudden infant death is not ignored. The Lullaby Trust's new name helps us associate Sudden infant…continue reading →
