What We Love About Christmas

What We Love About Christmas

I am a total Christmas Obsessive. Our Christmas Tree went up on the 1st December and I've cracked out the Christmas tunes. I love the magic of Christmas and am happy to celebrate that joy for a month. Christmas for me is about family and love and being thankful for who and what you have in your life. So what's wrong with wanting to revisit those childhood memories of excitement and the feeling of magic? I hope to pass the excitement on to our little man and any future children we are blessed…continue reading →
Christmas at the Tank Museum

Christmas at the Tank Museum

Last year when M was very small and wrapped up in his sling, we took him to celebrate Christmas at the Tank Museum. We were very tired mummies and had a baby that had no idea what was going on around him. So this year we had higher expectations when my mum asked us to go with her to see Santa arrive on a tank. Apart from some confusion with the staff when Santa arrived outside the Museum, everything else was well planned and full of festive cheer. Monkey's Nanna treated him to…continue reading →
Christmas Preparation Has Begun

Christmas Preparation Has Begun

This month has whizzed by in true grown up fashion. We've been so busy with the ups and downs within our life, that it seems we haven't really had a moment to spend time as a family. Our year was on a turn a few weeks ago when we found out C had a new job. The day she was due to start the Universe had other plans and unfortunatey the job was no more. But we didn't let this get us down and have started to look for other opportunities. When we…continue reading →
Personalised Christmas Sack – Rusks and Rebels

Personalised Christmas Sack – Rusks and Rebels

When I was a child my parents bought me a Dennis the Menace Christmas sack. It was so exciting to come down on Christmas morning and see all my presents in my very own sack. I loved that Christmas sack so much, that I still have it and it is still in fantastic condition being that it's only used once a year. When Rusks and Rebels asked us if we'd like to review something from their Christmas range I knew straight away which item would be perfect for our little man. It was…continue reading →
A Very Homely Christmas Wishlist

A Very Homely Christmas Wishlist

I have finally managed to pin C down and get her to share her very homely Christmas wishlist with me. You can certainly tell I am all about the gadgets whilst C loves a good home appliance. Hopefully next year I will be able to buy her a few things off her list. I quite fancy the Macbook!     Macbook Pro 15inch, Argos ¬£2149 - This would come in really useful for editing our vlogs and photos. It something we have talked about saving for, for a long time. Christmas Clothing for Girls

Christmas Clothing for Girls

We all know Christmas is lurking just around the corner and if you are just like us, you will have already thought about buying Christmas presents to spread the budget over the next few weeks. I like to think I am quite good at buying presents for Monkey, I pretty much buy whatever I'd have liked to own when I was a child. But I always seem to struggle when buying for my niece or friends little girl. They both have very individual styles and are such beautiful little girls that I like…continue reading →
Baby’s 1st Christmas – 2012

Baby’s 1st Christmas – 2012

Now that Christmas is officially over, the tree's back in its bag and all the presents have homes, we finally have time to sit down and recall everything that happened during our gorgeous baby's 1st Christmas. When we first had Monkey, most people told us he wouldn't even notice anything at Christmas. But this couldn't have been far enough from the truth. He was incredibly alert and loved all the Christmas prep and could definitely sense the growing excitement from both of us. Our Christmas celebrations started on Christmas Eve with a gathering…continue reading →
Merry Christmas – 2012

Merry Christmas – 2012

Tomorrow will be the first Christmas Eve our little man has ever seen. Even though he has no idea how much excitement this day will hold as he gets older. Both C and I are excited to be starting traditions we hope to carry on for many years to come. We will be spending the day with family and exchanging presents as it will be just the three of us on Christmas Day. Then on Boxing Day we will be with more family for more exchanging of gifts before collapsing in a pile…continue reading →
The Magic of Christmas

The Magic of Christmas

Everywhere I go I am noticing¬† magic of Christmas more than any other year. The decorations, the excitement on children's faces, the Christmas films on television. It's like someone is sprinkling Christmas wherever I go. I have decided this is all down to Monkey. I always knew that Christmas would never be the same after he arrived as all our focus would be on making Christmas special for him. But I didn't expect it to occur so soon. Monkey is going to be 5 months just after Christmas day and I imagined he…continue reading →
