This Time Of Year

This Time Of Year

This time of year is perfect for walks in the park. A time to run through leaves, splash in puddles and look at all the colours of the trees. It's also the perfect time to stop and look at what we are lucky enough to be blessed with. Every day is a day to be grateful for the gorgeous family I have, but there is just something about the end of the year approaching, which allows me to slow down and really take account of the beauty before me. Our little man is…continue reading →
Looking Back

Looking Back

I love looking at pictures of myself between the ages of 3 to about 10. When I was really little I had very blonde hair and cute ringlet curls. As I grew my hair grew darker and my curls turned in to an incredibly annoying kink in my hair. Between these ages I always had a cheeky grin plastered on my face which implied I'd been up to something I shouldn't have been doing. Wonder and excitement lit up my eyes as everything around me offered the potential for an adventure. I love…continue reading →

Snapbox – Free your photos – Review

I take a lot of photos. Seriously A LOT! Some of them make it onto instagram or our Facebook page, but many end up in folders on my external hardrive. A little grumpy

A little grumpy

Recently M has been going through a big developmental and physical growth spurt. He's trying to speak, but hasn't quite grasped too many words yet and can get quite frustrated when our attempt to understand him turns in to a game of charades. To top it all off he's still teething, I feel like he's been in a constant state of teething since he was 6 weeks old. All of this can lead to a very grumpy Monkey. Boy does he let us know when he's in a grump, he moans, throws toys,…continue reading →
A day at the Beach

A day at the Beach

I have loved photography since I was a little kid. My dad gave me one of his old SLR's and an old lens when I was young and I used to pretend I was a professional photographer. He had a large collection of books on photography and I would sit for hours looking at the pictures. I learned that my favourite type of photography was un posed, I loved the way certain images allowed you to use your imagination and told a story. Flash forward many years and I was finally able to…continue reading →
New Surroundings

New Surroundings

As we mentioned in our previous post (The Final Photo) for the Me & Mine Linky, we moved house last month. Many of you asked for this months photo to be in our new house. The house we are living in, isn't so new to us. We lived here once before when C and I moved to Dorset. C's parents are helping us achieve our dreams to move into a home more suitable for Monkey by giving us a great place to stay until the Universe provides. We are staying in their loft,…continue reading →
