Big Birthday Smiles

Big Birthday Smiles

Last week I looked at our Me and Mine picture from last July. It was taken on Bournemouth pier on M's 1st birthday and he looks quite moody due to teething and tiredness and everything that comes along with turning one. This year we wanted to take our Me and Mine picture on his birthday, so that we could compare the exact difference a year makes. It seems that a year makes a huge difference! Our little man is now not only bigger, cheekier, cuter and older, he has learned to smile on…continue reading →
A Living Arrows Collection

A Living Arrows Collection

At the end of last year, I was happy to be asked to become one of the contributors for I Heart Snapping. Their Living Arrows project was perfect to encourage me to improve my photography whilst capturing a weekly memory of our little man. It's been six weeks since we started the project and I am really enjoying sharing my images and seeing how everyone else captures their children's moments. Snapbox – Free your photos – Review

A little grumpy

A little grumpy

Recently M has been going through a big developmental and physical growth spurt. He's trying to speak, but hasn't quite grasped too many words yet and can get quite frustrated when our attempt to understand him turns in to a game of charades. To top it all off he's still teething, I feel like he's been in a constant state of teething since he was 6 weeks old. All of this can lead to a very grumpy Monkey. Boy does he let us know when he's in a grump, he moans, throws toys,…continue reading →
New Surroundings

New Surroundings

As we mentioned in our previous post (The Final Photo) for the Me & Mine Linky, we moved house last month. Many of you asked for this months photo to be in our new house. The house we are living in, isn't so new to us. We lived here once before when C and I moved to Dorset. C's parents are helping us achieve our dreams to move into a home more suitable for Monkey by giving us a great place to stay until the Universe provides. We are staying in their loft,…continue reading →
