Remarkable Eco Stationery – Review

Remarkable Eco Stationery – Review

A few weeks ago we were kindly sent a couple of boxes of Eco Stationery from Memo Etc, for our niece and C's little brother to review. When the boxes arrived we were really impressed with the quality of the stationery. Straight away they were put to use. We were sent some lovely leather backed notepads, colouring pens, ball point pens and some pencil cases. All of which were originally other objects. My niece was fascinated that the ruler was made from corn on the cob. She likes the items especially the pad…continue reading →
Tomy Boon Feeding Range -Review

Tomy Boon Feeding Range -Review

I love the bright colours of the Tomy Boon Feeding range. Our Groovy Modwear Plate, Swing Tall Cup and Swing Short Snack Pot really stand out against the other 'traditional' meal time items we have in the house. Groovy Modwear Plate - Orange and Blue If you're looking at moving onto the next stage in feeding, like we are with Monkey, we would recommend this plate and cutlery set. The Groovy Plate has a rubberised bottom so it doesn't slide around the table/tray when M picks food up from it, which is great…continue reading →

A fizzy 1st party with Sodastream – Review

Everyone knows that when you throw a party, it's always nice to celebrate with a bit of fizz. So when were received a Source Sodastream to review, both C and I quickly revisited our childhood to complete our dreams of one day owning a Sodastream. M's party was a space party theme, so we were pleased to see that the Source had a futuristic look to it. It also fitted in well with our red and blue colour scheme. At £129.99 this sodastream drinksmaker doesn't come cheap, but it has a luxury look…continue reading →
Haba Pulling Diego Dragon – Review

Haba Pulling Diego Dragon – Review

Monkey was first sent the Hablo pulling Diego Dragon when he was just walking. He was more interested in eating the dragon, than pulling it around. Now that M is running all over the place, the dragon practically flies around the room with him after him. This adorable dragon is available from The Toadstool online toy store. He's incredibly well made, nice and colourful and perfect for a one year old who can toddle round the room. I was a little concerned about M chewing on the dragon's tail, but after much wrenching…continue reading →
4-in-1 Dream Smart Trike – Review

4-in-1 Dream Smart Trike – Review

Now that Monkey is 11 months he doesn't always want to sit in his pushchair. He gets frustrated when we are going to the park as he knows he can walk but as our journey takes us across several roads, it wouldn't be safe to let him walk, as he would kick and moan each time we carried him across the road. We knew about Smart Trikes as our best friends have one for their little girl, so when we were contacted to review a 4-in1 Dream Smart Trike we gratefully accepted the…continue reading →
Cosatto Yo Pow! Pushchair – Review

Cosatto Yo Pow! Pushchair – Review

Our family is all about colour. You'll often see us both wearing brightly coloured skinny jeans in the winter, which is why Cosatto products are perfect for us, especially the Cosatto Yo Pow! Pushchair. We'd seen the pushchair in pictures and loved it. Kirsty loves anything to do with Super Heroes so when Cosatto offered us the opportunity to review the Yo Pow! she was so excited! When we got it out of the box there were a lot of oooo's and ahhhh's coming from all members of the family. It was an…continue reading →
Lilliputiens Oscar The Greedy Crab – Review

Lilliputiens Oscar The Greedy Crab – Review

When The Toadstool sent us a Lilliputiens Oscar The Greedy Crab my first impressions were good. The bright colours and lovely textures were a big hit with M. Straight away he grasped the little crab and gave it the nibble test. It seemed to pass as he stroked his nails across the bumpy tummy. Now at 10 months old he's had a few weeks to play with it and still loves it.   The crab retails at £12.50, which is a little more than we would normally spend on a toy of this…continue reading →
Wonderworld Rainbow Sound Sensory Blocks – Review

Wonderworld Rainbow Sound Sensory Blocks – Review

Monkey was recently asked to be an official toy tester for The Toadstool UK online store. As he is becoming much more interactive with his toys, we have him permission to accept the offer. The first toys he has had fun reviewing, are the fab Wonderworld Rainbow Sound Sensory Blocks.   When the box first arrived, we were a little concerned that it was aimed at older children. M let us check them over, before letting him loose on the blocks. Straight away he grabbed one of the square blocks and started chomping…continue reading →
Babasling – Review

Babasling – Review

Babywearing is a big part of our lives and has been ever since Monkey was born. I love to feel him close to me and I am able to talk and interact with him about the amazing world we live in. We used to use a wrap sling, which was perfect for when he was tiny and slept most of the time, but since he has become more inquisitive it just didn't work. M doesn't want to stare at Mummy all of the time. Plus he's getting heavy! I'd seen a BabaSling demo…continue reading →
Mamas & Papas Urbo Pushchair – Review

Mamas & Papas Urbo Pushchair – Review

Choosing the right pushchair when you're expecting is such a daunting task. You don't know what life will be like once the baby arrives and a travel system is one of the most important pieces of equipment. We love our Urbo, it's light, easy to manoeuvre and looks great! I'm going to start by saying how stress free this travel system is. With our previous pushchair I felt like pulling my hair out almost every day. The Mamas and Papas Urbo is so easy to use. The Urbo has a two handed fold.…continue reading →
