Half Term Tech

Half Term Tech

As Half Term fast approaches we start to think about the tech our little man has available to keep him entertained in-between his exciting adventures with his grandparents. As M gets older he loves to share what he gets up to whilst we are at work. The easiest way for him to do this is via a tablet. We were recently sent an Acer Iconia tablet that is perfect for allowing him to watch his favourite shows on Netflix or YouTube Kids and also capture photos of his day. With 32GBS of space…continue reading →
Marshmallows in the garden – Swedish Torch

Marshmallows in the garden – Swedish Torch

Towards the start of the year we were asked if we'd like to take a Swedish Torch camping with us on one of our many camping trips. Being keen campers and planning lots of trips in the tent, we jumped at the chance to enjoy some toasted marshmallows. Except it just wasn't meant to be. The Summer was a bit of a washout and it rained on every camping trip, bar my Beaver Scout Camp, where our own camp fires weren't allowed. We were desperate to put our Swedish Torch to the test…continue reading →

Great features of Google Home – #bemoreathome

Ever since we were invited to Google HQ to learn about the great features of Google Home, M has been in love with it. In fact, we are all kind of in love with the smart tech we've added to our home and the ease in which we have adapted to having the extra tech in the house. Google Home is easy to hook up straight from the box and comes with everything you need to plug it in. You will need a smart phone and an email account to customise and finish…continue reading →
Summer with the Coleman Cortes Octagon 8 Tent

Summer with the Coleman Cortes Octagon 8 Tent

At the start of the year we agreed that we wanted to camp more this Summer. We have fond memories of camping together ever since we met, and introduced M to camping just after he turned 2. This Summer were were sent the Coleman Cortes Octagon  8 tent (RRP £330) and have definitely found our favourite tent we've camped in. The Coleman Cortes Octagon 8 tent went with us on Beaver camp, Camp Bestival and has been a play tent in the garden during the mini heatwave (the one day of Summer weather we had…continue reading →
Breakfast prep with Beko

Breakfast prep with Beko

Our house loves a speedy breakfast. We are all well aware we become hangry monsters if we don't eat breakfast within a couple of hours of waking, but can never bother to spent too long preparing it. Which is why it's great we can now enjoy breakfast prep with Beko thanks to the delivery of a fab Beko Temperate control Kettle (£49.99) and Beko Sense Toaster (£34.99). The Beko temperature control kettle is the perfect kettle for sorting breakfast. With control of 4 different temperatures I can make a not too hot, hot chocolate for M…continue reading →
Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

Back in November last year, Kirsty and I decided to take the step onto the housing market and bought our first ever home together but we are no strangers to the upheaval that comes with moving home, having just settled in our 10th home in 10 years. Yes, you read that right, 10 different houses/flats/studios/converted lofts, you name it, in the 10 wonderful years of being a couple. So when it comes to a good spring clean to clear away the mess and chaos that comes with unpacking your life from the vast…continue reading →
Bean to Cup coffee machine – Beko Review

Bean to Cup coffee machine – Beko Review

Ever since I started drinking coffee I have preferred a richer smoother taste beans give you, rather than a cup of instant granules. I've never had the patience to brew coffee or use filters or cafetieres, so I was very pleased when Beko got in touch to ask if we'd like to try their Bean to Cup coffee machine. Something that has always stopped me from buying a bean to cup coffee machine sooner, is the fear that I won't know how to operate it or keep it clean. The Beko Bean to…continue reading →
What to buy a Puppy

What to buy a Puppy

If you follow us on Instagram, Twitter or are regular readers, then you won't have missed that we added a new puppy to our family at the start of the month. He is a gorgeous Cockapoo called Beau and loves cuddles, tennis balls and other dogs. Before we took Beau home we made sure we had all the essentials a puppy needs straight away. A safe place to sleep at night (we went with crate training), a soft fluffy bed for sleeping in the living room, Puppy food, treats for toilet training, some…continue reading →
Skwibble, the ultimate digital memory book

Skwibble, the ultimate digital memory book

As bloggers it's obvious we love to record the milestones and memories of our little man's childhood. We've never been great at printing off pictures for albums or filling in his baby book, so when we discovered the Skwibble app it seemed like the perfect place to store and share memories with friends and family outside of the blog. Skwibble allows you to record those funny memories, special celebrations and the many milestones your child reaches securely and safely. We take so many pictures and don't always like adding too many to our…continue reading →
A family rave with Big Fish Little Fish

A family rave with Big Fish Little Fish

It's been a while since I stood queuing outside a nightclub, eager to order a nice cool drink and dance until my feet hurt. But thanks to Big Fish Little Fish, last weekend we found ourselves in a dark nightclub reaching for the bubbles rather than the lasers, with our little man at our side. Big Fish Little Fish is a genius idea designed to bring clubbing back to those with children. We were invited down to the Mother's Day event in Bournemouth which took place in a nightclub that smelled just like…continue reading →
