Evo Play Case Review

Evo Play Case Review

Our first iPad is older than M and was starting to look a little worse for wear lately. We've replaced the screen once already and desperately needed to replace it again. But our little man loves having his own iPad for games and Netflix, so we invested in an upgrade. As an active little boy who takes his iPad everywhere, it was important for him to have a child proof cover and the Evo Play Case by Tech21 has been perfect for the job. Both Clara and I have tech21 mobile cases, so…continue reading →
A quick cache and grab – AD

A quick cache and grab – AD

Despite my plans to document our geocaching this year, we've been finding it hard to fit in some caches due to a surprisingly busy schedule. But thankfully the other day M and I managed a quick cache and grab whilst we were out. I love when we can grab a quick cache as it has all the reward of finding a geocache, without the whines of a 4 year old with tired legs as I've accidentally taken us on a long multi cache circuit. After locating the micro, which was well hidden but…continue reading →
Smart Games – Camelot Jr

Smart Games – Camelot Jr

At the end of last year we were sent some fab games by Smart Games and have been enjoying putting them to the test over the last few months. This month we've really enjoyed playing Camelot Jr which is a brain-challenging game with up to 48 challenges. The game comes with a little wooden board to place castle pieces on, depending on which level of challenge you select. You then have to follow the game rules to get the prince to the princess, or the princess to the prince as we mostly ended…continue reading →
Wunderlife Brug Launches on Kickstart

Wunderlife Brug Launches on Kickstart

As lovers of adventure and getting outdoors it's always nice when you discover a brand and product that fit your lifestyle. This was particularly true when we were introduced to Wunderlife and the Brug. The creators of Wunderlife are parents who wanted to create a product that had a multi-purpose to give you a little extra time to enjoy the moments that matter. So what is a Brug? The Brug is a water resistant rug that transforms into a bag. It's such a simple idea but one we've not seen before. We've had…continue reading →
Ribs and Milkshakes at Planet Hollywood, London

Ribs and Milkshakes at Planet Hollywood, London

A couple of weeks ago during our trip to London we got invited to Planet Hollywood to enjoy a lovely family meal. I have fond memories of Planet Hollywood as a child as one of my friends took me there for my first visit on one of her birthday's. I remember drinking a Gremlin (alcohol free) cocktail and being amazed by all the film memorabilia. Planet Hollywood has moved location since then and it's set slightly back from all the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus down Haymarket. It's a great location as…continue reading →
Waking up to new beginnings on an eve mattress.

Waking up to new beginnings on an eve mattress.

Last November Kirsty, Monkey and I bought our first home together and although it was a very exciting time for us, it was also an anxious time, especially for our 4 year old. Getting used to a new bedroom and a new bed, which were both much larger than any he had previously slept in was a bit daunting for him. Kirsty and I wanted our little man to have as many comforts as possible so when the lovely people over at eve¬†arranged to send him a new mattress we were delighted. Our…continue reading →
Merino Hospitality – Self Catering Apartments in London

Merino Hospitality – Self Catering Apartments in London

As mentioned in our recent post about our trip to London, we were invited to stay in a luxury self catering apartment by Merino Hospitality. Located in WC2A, this luxury apartment is only a short walk to Fleet Street and The Strand. Tucked neatly off the main road we discovered the entrance to the apartment via a sweet little road, meaning there would be no through traffic and no noise. Once we were inside the building we were shown around the apartment by a lovely member of the Merino Hospitality team who was…continue reading →
Puppets by Post, Mr Croc the car pet

Puppets by Post, Mr Croc the car pet

Earlier this year we invited to become Puppeteers by Puppets by Post. We were sent the gorgeous Mr Rex, a Goldilocks and the three bears story with finger puppets and a lovely little Crocodile that became our car pet. It may sound odd that we made him our car pet, but he became a handy little puppet to keep in the glove box for journeys in the car. Our little man is a huge fan of puppets and took to the personality I provided Croc with. As he was our car pet, assigned…continue reading →

Pip Ahoy adventures in Salty Cove – App #Review

This post is a sponsored collaboration. Our little man loves his iPad and quite often as a treat we download a new app for him to play. This week M got to play the rather sweet Pip Ahoy! app, available on iTunes, Amazon and Android stores. If you are not familiar with Pip Ahoy! he can be found on Milkshake TV sharing his many adventures and now your little one can join Pip Ahoy! in his adventures in Salty Cove. Pip Ahoy! costs ¬£1.99 which we thought was quite reasonable for the 5…continue reading →
SmartMax Magnets for creative play

SmartMax Magnets for creative play

Ever since M was small he has been interested in magnets. Clara's brother had some child friendly magnets in his toy box a few years back and M gradually discovered them and they went everywhere with him. So when SmartMax got in touch to see if we would like M to be sent some SmartMax magnets for creative play, we jumped at the chance. Ever since the Power Vehicles Mix and the Basic Stunt set arrived they have been played with pretty much every single day. Both adults and children are drawn to…continue reading →
