Hatley – Spring collection – AD

Our little dude loves puddle jumping and has been a huge fan since his nan bought him his first ever pair of Hatley wellies. I remember our first splashing adventure down the park and though he looked so grown up in his little wellies. The wellies lasted so well that M outgrew them whilst they still looked brand new, allowing us to pass them down to one of his younger friends to enjoy splashing. So when Hatley contacted us to ask if we would like to review an item from their Spring collection we knew we would be getting something of high quality that would be made to last during our outdoor adventures.

When the little dude’s Ocean Liner raincoat (£35) arrived, our thoughts of how great the quality would be were confirmed. The raincoat is waterproof, cosy to wear and even machine washable. The fit is nice and allows for a hoodie to be worn underneath. Our little man is quite tall with long arms, but didn’t have any issues with the coat riding up on his waist or cuffs.

The coat fastens with snap poppers, which make it easy to throw on in a rainstorm. It is also very easy to fold up to put in a rucksack for a day out. We’ve been lucky to have some mild weather lately, so our little man has preferred wearing his light raincoat instead of a heavier winter coat, which makes it so perfect for the Spring.

The design is nice and bright and certainly appealed to our little transport lover. His first pair of Hatley wellies were a fab truck design, so it is nice to see a transport theme carried across their range.

We would certainly buy more items from the Hatley range, they have got comfort and quality spot on and keep our little man happy.

I only discovered Hatley recently when we went shopping on Oxford Street. I now love it just as much as Joules, Boden and all those kind of brands. You cannot beat a Hatley print and his boats are gorgeous! Love the colour too x
