Making the most of the moment

As mentioned in our previous post, last week we visited Bournemouth Aquarium with some lovely friends of ours. Both our boys are the same age and off to school this year, so we are all very aware of capturing the moments we have with them before they go off into the system.

Clara and I work full time, so our weekends are where we capture those special memories and make sure we make the most of every single moment. Which is why it’s great that we have friends that want to capture those moments too. As we stood in the aquarium, S turned to me and said “the sun will be setting soon”, which meant we were going to be entering golden hour. An hour we love as keen photographers. So the race began, the race to the beach to capture our boys running across the shiny sand.

We ran, we spun, we snapped away and it was beautiful.

Oh that light is just beautiful. Such incredible pictures. I don’t think I realised you both worked full time – your weekends must be so extra special for you all x

Beautiful indeed, as you say such a lovely time of day to be at the beach with those dear to you and a camera. i love the photo of the two boys running together, they look like they have no intention of stopping when they meet the water’s edge! Such a bonus having the beach so close to home, it is further for us which shouldn’t make a difference but it does and we don’t get there as often as I would like. Your photos make me yearn for a sunset visit. Thank you for sharing with me on #CountryKids
