Our little man is Bob the Builder mad! Last Christmas we spent several weeks hunting round Facebook groups trying to find original Bob the Builder toys for our little man to unwrap on Christmas day. They were a huge hit and increased his love of Bob the Builder. This year Bob the Builder relaunched with a brand new look and now there is a brand new Bob the Builder magazine (£3.99), which we were very kindly sent to review.
At 3 years old, our little man is really starting to love magazines. We often buy crafty magazines with lots of stickers, so it was nice to try something new, yet also discover stickers inside. The Bob the Builder magazine is fun and engaging, packed full of lots to do including short stories to read and educational activities to do together. I loved this touch as we are always encouraging our little man to learn in everything he does, so counting and problem solving in a magazine is a nice fun approach to learning. The magazine arrived with a small activity book and a toy hammer which went down really well with M, who doesn’t love a freebie with their magazine?!
Each page is colourful and offers something exciting to do. It was certainly a family affair when we opened it up as M wanted us all involved in the Bob the Builder fun. There are so many pages to stick stickers to, colour in and cut out. In comparison to other magazines of shows M loves, this magazine really does pack in far more than it’s competitors.
If your little one is a Bob the Builder fan, a subscription to their new magazine would make for a lovely Christmas present. The perfect age for this magazine would be 3-5 year olds. Our little man was kept engaged and had lots of fun, we are already looking forward to picking up the next copy.
