Our little man loves noise, he sings, bangs spoons on pots and also loves to stack things. So when we were sent the P’Kolino Wooden Xylophone it was an instant hit.
At 15 months our son is a little tornado, zooming from one toy to the next. This is the first toy that I’ve seen him sit down to play with, for quite a while. The xylophone comes nicely stacked together, the stacking aspect is quite fun as you can try to stack it in different ways to make different sounds when you hit it.
The P’Kolino Wooden xylophone is very robust and made from rubber wood with a metal coloured top. It has survived being chomped, bashed with other toys and even dropped down the stairs. The sound is a little tinny but this type of toy is not purely purchased for it’s musical ability, it’s far more than that. It looks great stacked on the shelf in the playroom and is great for improving motor skills as little hands attempt to stack it.
At £23.50 I would say this makes a great Christmas gift and encourages multiple children to play together. So you could have a family band on Christmas morning.
You can purchase the P’Kolino Wooden Xylophone from The Toadstool UK.
