Pop stars and Rock stars – Camp Bestival lineup

Our favourite event of the year is only 6 months away and already we are getting super excited to see what Camp Bestival (THE best family festival) has to offer. This year the Camp Bestival theme is Pop stars and Rock stars. Over the last few weeks they’ve been announcing the full Camp Bestival lineup and to be honest both C and I are quite excited.

When I discovered All Saints were going to be playing I may have whooped just a little bit as I’ve been a fan for roughly 20 years. I’ve never seen them live and would love to see them whip the Camp Bestival crowd into an All Saints loving frenzy (can you tell I’m a bit excited?).

So here are some videos of the artists we are looking forward to seeing most. Brian Wilson was the most recently announced star due to take the Camp Bestival stage on the Sunday evening. I am looking forward to hearing him live as I grew up hearing his songs mostly as the soundtrack to my Summer’s.

Madness are another group I grew up with. I love their witty tunes and energy. I am looking forward to introducing M to their music.

Like I said above, All Saints are the group I am most looking forward to seeing perform. I have been a fan since the first time I ever heard their music and most of my teen years can be set to the soundtrack of All Saints.

Kate Nash is an artist both C and I have enjoyed since she arrived on the music scene. We love her lyrics and often sing along to her in the car.

Louisa Johnson is a new artist on our spotify playlist and one we were very happy to discover was singing at Camp Bestival this year.

Becky Hill is another singer we are looking forward to rocking out to. M loves a little boogie round the house to her music and will be throwing some shapes in the crowd once she takes the stage.

Right Said Fred is an act that takes me back many many years. But also reminds me of my days at G-A-Y, they always seemed to be on the screens in the club so I have many happy memories dancing to them.
