Clara and I both love to cook up a storm in the kitchen. We also love a kitchen gadget, so when we were offered The Fast Slow Pro by Sage Appliances, to help us serve up some fab meals, we jumped at the chance. The Fast Slow Pro turned up towards the end of last year and has been put through it’s paces with a slow cooker ham at Christmas, numerous risottos and pressure cooker chicken for fajitas.
Both Clara and I work full time, so having dinner ready for when we get in from work, or being able to rustle up a healthy meal in minutes is really important to us. Which is perfect as this is exactly what The Fast Slow Pro does. Sage’s Fast Slow Pro is a combination pressure and slow cooker which comes with an interactive LCD control panel that displays all the information you need to make sure you’re cooking your dinner perfectly. It is so easy to use, that I am pretty sure with some guidance, M could figure out how to get our dinner ready.
The Fast Slow Pro is not only easy to use to cook, it is also really easy to clean once you’ve used it. Which is a huge bonus in this house. We have a small sink and no dishwasher, so being able to wash up all the pieces quickly is great.
Clara recently cooked a very tasty slow cooker sausage casserole, which was not only super tasty, it was super cheap too (all our ingredients were from Aldi).
Casserole veggie pack
1 packet of casserole mix
300ml water (until it just covers food)
Slow Cooker setting on low for 9 hours (adjust to your cooker)
Serves 2 generous portions.
We will be sharing other meals we’ve been creating and testing our cooking, by using settings we’ve never used before. Do let us know in the comments if there is a recipe we must try.
