The perfect remedy

At 3am on Sunday morning, C was in our kitchen microwaving me a bean bag pack whilst prepping some painkillers for me. Just 5 minutes before, I’d woken her to say that the pain from my ovarian cyst and endometriosis was so bad that I couldn’t stand. Thankfully I’m blessed with an awesome wife who made sure I was ok, helped to try and ease my pain and didn’t mind when I needed 15 extra minutes in bed when it was eventually a more friendly time in the morning.

Luckily our Sunday plans had recently changed, which meant we had a totally blank canvas. The day could go whichever direction we wanted it to go. So we did what we always love to do when we need a pick me up, we headed to the beach and it turned out to be the perfect remedy.

By the end of our beach trip we were all on high spirits wearing big grins. There is something quite magical about the beach, it never fails to make us happy. Rain or shine, the beach will always be our happy place (just don’t tell the woods).

Where is your perfect remedy?

The photos in the post say it all. I hope you’re feeling better lovely – I have friends with similar health issues and it’s no fun for them at all x

What a truly beautiful beach day, I love going to walk on the beach in the winter it always feels empty and all yours. It’s great that your day was free to do with what you wanted, there’s nothing worse than not feeling 100% and having a busy day. M looks like he’s having a great time running around the beach with you both. Thanks for linking up with me on Country Kids and supporting it throughout the year. Merry Christmas to the three of you.
