Last week I failed to join in with the Fitness Fanatics linky due to a bug making me feel sorry for myself. Luckily I was feeling much better by Monday and was able to get back into the swing of things.
I’m really enjoying our weekly swim on a Monday. I’ve never been a strong swimmer but I can definitely notice a difference in my strength and stamina. I managed to push myself to 20 lengths, which is a great result for my swimming ability.
On Wednesday I had my second official weigh in. On the 1st of April, C and I weighed ourselves in Boots and agreed to go back on the 1st of each month. I was really hoping for a loss to make all the extra walking I’ve been doing seem worth it.
I was happy when the scale showed a 4lb loss. I’m hoping next months loss is just as good.
I also started the C25K this week. I found it much easier than my first attempt a couple of years ago. I’m not sure if this is down to all the walking I’ve been doing. I’m using a free app from iTunes which is easy to use.
Hopefully I’ll be on week two by next week.
